Hi Jan, I am interested in becoming a Certified Astrologer. I've been learning on my own for the past ten years, with much more intensity in the past two years and I see myself reading charts in the future but I don't know how or where to learn this. Dear Karima, Jan does not teach & she does have several recommendations for anyone wanting to pursue learning Astrology.

First, she encourages you to contact natural health food stores & New Age bookstores. There are often very credible communities of Astrologers that offer their services (classes or individual instruction) through these types of establishments. Another resource that is becoming more prevalent these days are "Holistic Healers." If they, themselves do not utilize Astrological Wisdom, often they know people that do.

Jan has found that these "word of mouth" recommendations seem to offer the best opportunities. In the end, Jan encourages you trust your inner guidance system to become a practicing Astrologer, and team up with an instructor that is "right" for you.

Of course you can do a search with "The Big Three" International Astrological Associations to find out who they recommend in your area. Do a search for/then within: NCGR, AFAN, and ISAR.

Also, I have a dear friend attending "Kepler College," - the first accredited school to offer a Degree in Astrological Studies. It's a "Distance Learning" program... the school is in Seattle, Washington.

Thank you Ms. Spiller! I came across your book Astrology for the Soul today in the bookstore and read about my North Node in Virgo. I was blown away! I have heard similar information about it before from other evolutionary astrology websites and books, but your words were different. Hello Jan, I just wanted to personally thank you for your book Astrology for the Soul as it has put so much of what I knew into a bigger context, & has allowed me to totally let go of a lot of old resentment, frustration and inappropriate hopes. In other words, just get on with supporting myself! That is wonderfully freeing at the age of 59 after a lifetime of struggle when I help others make everything easy!
